Meet The Attorney

About Attorney Whitney Miranda

Attorney Whitney Miranda is originally from Texas and educated through DISD, graduating from Bryan Adams High School in 1986.  She then attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business. Taking a break from school, she worked in retail management for several years and then went to Washburn Law School earning a Juris Doctorate in 2008.  She returned to Texas in 2008 to care for her mother and start a legal career.   After working for a local immigration attorney she opened her own solo law firm in 2009.  Miranda Law Firm has been located exclusively in Garland and has assisted clients from all over North Texas ever since.

In addition to volunteering time at legal clinics around Dallas, Whitney regularly volunteers with local animal rescues including fostering street dogs for Duck Team 6 and cats/kittens for Friends of Rescue Animals.

“In my spare time I enjoy reading, mountain biking, playing golf, playing softball, Cross Fit workouts and anything else that gets me outside and moving. I value spending time with family and love to travel with them and visit them all over the United States.”
